What is new!

• Added Place of Service selector to the Encounters Page (see below for additional details)
• Added a visual identifier for Hospice Enrolled Patients on the census 
• Added a field to indicate if the encounter is related to hospice services (see below for additional details) 
• Facility selection is now exclusive to the Encounters Page
  • When creating a new patient, the facility defaults to the facility that is selected on the census page
• Added ability to update the Billing Entity for an encounter 
  • Note: This feature will only be available for practices that have more than one Billing Entity enabled

We resolved it:

• You can now submit encounters with codes 20550-20553 without adding a modifier 
• A draft note is no longer created when you complete an encounter without starting a progress note

Additional Details:

Place of Service Selector

• Place of Service selector will display if the selected facility has more than one Place of Service
  • This feature can be enabled by practice, please reach out to support@claimocity.com for more details 

• The field is displayed in the Additional Information section of the Encounters Page and the Billing Summary page of the progress note

Hospice Related Field

• When a patient is marked as Hospice Enrolled in the Patient Details page, the Hospice Related field will display
• The Hospice Related field is located in the Additional Information section of the Encounter Details page and the Billing Summary of the Progress Note
• When enabled for a visit, it will carry over to subsequent visits
