  • Which Dragon product does Claimocity offer?
    • Claimocity offers the Dragon Medical speech recognition product, specifically, the web version (no PowerMic required)

  • Is Claimocity’s version of Dragon compatible with the PowerMic Mobile wireless microphone application?
    • No, it is not compatible with PowerMic Mobile wireless microphone application.  It is, however, compatible with the wired PowerMic.
  • How does it work?
    • Access the Claimocity Desktop app (https://desktop.claimocity.io/), navigate to the progress note generator, click on the Dragon Voice Dictation icon, review / agree to the Terms of Service, and you can start using it.

  • How do you enable it?
  • How much does it cost?
    • To use Dragon Voice Dictation in the Claimocity Desktop app costs $99 and is billed monthly.

  • How is it invoiced?
    • Dragon Voice Dictation is billed directly to the Claimocity user that enabled the feature. You will enter your payment information once agreeing to the terms.

  • How do I manage my subscription?
  • What if I need to cancel my Dragon Medical subscription in Claimocity?
  • If I signup or cancel mid-month, will my Dragon Medical invoice be prorated?
    • You will be billed for the entire month, even if you cancel mid-month.

  • Can I use my current Dragon subscription in Claimocity?
    • No. If you have a current Dragon subscription, you will need to cancel it and re-sign up via the Claimocity Desktop app.

  • Can I use it on the Claimocity Mobile application?
    • No. Dragon Voice Dictation is designed for the Claimocity Desktop app (note: the Claimocity Mobile app is compatible with other mobile phone's voice dictation software, specifically Siri for iPhones and Google Voice for Android devices).

  • Is Dragon secure? Does Dragon meet HIPPA compliance?
    • Yes, Dragon Voice Dictation meets HIPAA compliance standards, ensuring that it adheres to the necessary regulations for protecting patient health information.

  • Why isn't my dictation being added to the progress note?
    • If you click into the Billing Summary tab of the progress note or when adding Section(s), then you will need to re-enable Dragon. This can easily be re-enable by first clicking the Dragon icon so it shows "Disabled," then click it again so it shows "Enabled."

 

Helpful Tips When Using "Dragon"

  • Ensure you know where your cursor is when you are dictating
  • If you are done dictating, turn off the microphone (can also be done by a quick command)
  • Wait until you are done dictating before copying / pasting into the note text box
    • There is a latency when transcribing so ensure Dragon is fully caught up before adding more text or copying /pasting
