How to Change Date of Service

This guide will demonstrate how to update a visit's DOS in our Desktop version of Claimocity.

Navigate to the Census page

  • First, locate the visit that needs the DOS updated. 
    • If a visit is recently submitted, you may still be able to Recall and then update the DOS. The workflow for Recalling can be found here.
  • Click on the 3 dots to the far-left of the screen, and then select Edit Encounter.

  • The DOS can be found at the top of the Encounter Details page.
    • Click on the Calendar icon to open the Calendar view (image below), and select the new DOS.

  • Once new DOS is selected, Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
    • From here you can choose to Save as Draft (leaves visit In Progress), Sign and Bill (completes the visit), or Continue to Progress Note.
