How to Add Diagnosis Codes

You can add diagnosis codes to a patient chart and to your personal favorites list within the Plan section of the note.

1.  Navigate to the Plan section of the note.

*Note the red banners indicating this section is required. 

2.  Select a diagnosis code from the selected list by clicking on the code to highlight it green. 

3.  To add diagnosis codes to your personal favorites or to search for codes not in the code lists, click the Add/Change button. 

4.  Search by code or description.  

5.  Click the star to the left of the code to add it to your personal favorites. 

6.  Click on the code to highlight it green, adding it to the patient's chart. 

7.  When you have added all your diagnosis codes, click the check mark in the upper right-hand corner to confirm. 

8.  Enter your management plan in the field marked tap to enter med/management plan. 

9.  Click tap to select under Status to show your status menu and select an option.
