You can add CPT codes to a patient chart and to your personal favorites within the E&M and procedure codes section of the note.
1. Navigate to the E&M and Procedure codes section of the note.
* Note the red banner indicating this section is required.

2. Select a CPT code from the selected list by clicking on the code to highlight it green.

You can also click on the code list to choose another code list from the menu.
3. To add CPT codes to your personal favorites or to search for codes not found in the code lists, click the Add/Change button to navigate to the search.
4. Search by code or description.

5. Click the star to the left of the code to add it to your personal favorites.
The white star indicates a code is in your personal favorites and the star outline indicates a code is not in your personal favorites.
6. Click on the code to highlight it green, adding it to the patient's chart.

7. When you have added all CPT codes, click the check in the upper right-hand corner to confirm.
