How to Add a Modifier

You can easily add a modifier to your procedure code when you are selecting codes in your note.

1.  In the E&M and Procedure Codes section of your note, click the Add/Change button.

2.  Click on your selected procedure code to add it to the patient's chart.  

3.  Swipe right on the procedure code to show the Add Modifier(s) button and click the button to display Add Modifier page. 

4.  Click on the circle next the the modifier(s) to select it, and click the check mark to confirm. 

5.  The modifier(s) selected appear under the procedure code you have selected.
