How to Change the Date of Service for a Completed Note

If you have already completed a note, and realize the DOS is incorrect, here's how to change the date of service.

1. Using the main menu, navigate to the daily census.

2. Use the calendar to navigate to the date of service which you completed the encounter.

3.  Locate your patient in the completed census.

4.  Click on the patient name to navigate to the Visit Details page.

5. Click on the counterclockwise arrow to recall the submission, adding the encounter back to your pending census.

6.  Use the calendar icon to change the date of service.

7.  Click the blue note icon to add an addendum. 

8. Enter your updated date of service in the addendum, click create addendum and confirm submission of the addendum.

9.  Click the green check mark to resubmit the encounter.
